Starting in the middle of April, all 31 bedrooms in Hotel Matthiol will be renovated and refurbished. All rooms will feature high-quality materials in natural colours. Matured wood will create a cosy atmosphere, while corner seating in the spa bedrooms will offer somewhere to relax after using the room’s own sauna and sensory shower. All bedrooms will have coffee machines and will be available in time for the summer season in July 2021.
The bedrooms, bar, entrance area and reception will all be renovated, creating a welcoming lounge area that’s perfect for relaxation.
In the second stage of renovations in winter 2021/2022, hotel management are planning to expand the wellness area. This will then offer a range of saunas, steam bath, seating and a generously-sized relaxation room. A particular highlight will be the new heated outdoor pool with seating on the terrace.
