On Saturday 8 June 2019 in Madeira, the European winners of the 26th World Travel Awards were announced. Of the twelve awards in the "Switzerland's Leading" category, The Omnia was awarded "Leading Boutique Hotel" for the third year running, beating the other eight entrants in the category once again.
