The sustainability programme Swisstainable is open to all businesses and organisations in Swiss tourism. With Level I of the programme, Zermatt Tourism commits itself to sustainable business management and to continuously developing the business in the direction of sustainability.
With the certification and receipt of the Swisstainable seal, Zermatt Tourism is committed to implementing three measures on different aspects of sustainability over the next 24 months.
Following the Swisstainable sustainability strategy, the entire Swiss tourism industry is keen to start an effective movement, with the vision of becoming the most sustainable destination in the world.
