Are you missing Zermatt? The Matterhorn village will briefly be that bit nearer. From 25 October to 12 January, Zermatt will bring winter to the Swiss capital, with a presence in the Globus store on Spitalgasse 17-21 in Bern.
In a fairy-tale wintery Zermatt chalet on the Globus terrace, visitors can taste some delicious Valais specialities, a Zermatt fondue or a wine from the Weindorf Salgesch vineyard.
In addition to the Zermatt chalet, there will also be a range of events. The Zermatt agency, 4478-events, is organising a "Dine Around" tour in Bern. Guests start in the Zermatt Stübli restaurant and then continue on to others in the area.
The Zermatt Unplugged music festival will also put on a private event in the area and Zermatt Tourismus will host a media event, with food provided by Taste of Zermatt, and features for regular visitors. See you in Bern.
