A world of adventure surrounded by snow and ice. From 1 July 2023, the SnowXperience Plateau Rosa will offer exciting activities around the valley station of the new 3S Matterhorn Glacier Ride II cable car, right next to the border between Switzerland and Italy. Snow tubing for action seekers or a beginners' area for those first attempts on skis or on a snowboard: there is something for everyone and you can rent everything you need from head to toe on site. If you want to take it a little easier, you can just enjoy the view over the Aosta Valley and maybe take a souvenir photo on the national border.
From here, you can reach the highest mountain station in Europe in just four minutes, offering equally exciting and varied adventure opportunities at the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Even the ride on the new 3S cable car is a highlight: the stretch of approximately 1600 metres is constructed without masts and guests can marvel at the imposing Theodul Glacier from above for once.
