To be seen non-stop are stories from Zermatt, Täsch and Randa in the form of interviews, videos and photographs. “We will send live and non-stop, up-close and personal, and entertaining,” said Social Media Manager Corinne Ulrich. Zermatt Tourism put together a nine-member internal entertainment team for this. Added to this are a professional cameraman and a moderator.
From Randa to the Klein Matterhorn
The script has been ready for weeks. The tour will begin precisely at noon on 21 July. In the village of Randa at 1,406 m the thematic and geographic mountain tour begins up the valley via Täsch to Zermatt and all the way to the Klein Matterhorn (3,883 m). This is an almost 2,500 m altitude difference. There are many multifaceted details to be seen during this 24-hour tour: helicopter supply flight to a mountain hut, golf club, rockslide in Randa, Open-Air Theatre at Gornergrat, the fire department, goats, shooting stars, a night in the Hörnli hut, assembly of an eMobile, nighttime waste collection, training session with a national ski team as well as work at the highest construction site in Europe. Planned and spontaneous.
Zermatt - Matterhorn has already provided a 24-hour story from 30th to 31st December 2016. This was an amazing success story: Thousands of guests followed the activities on their social media profiles with likes, live questions and comments. “The objective of the 24-hour story is to provide the guests around the world with exciting and entertaining insight into the destination,” explained Corinne Ulrich, “live and uncensored”.
